Congratulations to the GCS players and coaches on an impressive season. Such is the character of the team and management that despite narrowly losing out in the British Cup Final on penalties, a week later they went on to lift the Welsh Colleges U19 Cup. The Academy's growing reputation was further recognised as they were awarded Focus College Status by the Welsh Football Trust, for displaying best practice in player training and development. The college uses Performa Sports analysis and coaching software for multiple sports with a strong focus on player development through their football academy.
